June Newsletter

Thank you very much to those who participated in our March for Meals  celebrations – our Higher Ground Pint Night and our Ride-Along with a Meals on Wheels volunteer, and to those who donated to the Council on Aging during the Bitterroot Gives campaign. These generous contributions will help to provide meals, transportation, Lifeline medical alert buttons, education, and much more to help seniors remain independent, healthy, and safe in their homes.

The Meals on Wheels and other Council on Aging services provide more than just a meal or a simple service. It’s a phone call, it’s a knock on the door, it’s a friendly voice on the line or a bright smile at the door. We care about the people we serve. We look out for them and try our best to make sure they have the things that need or resources to obtain them.

Thank you again for your support. We are not only stewards of this beautiful valley and the place we live, but also of the people who we live and interact with each day.
