Homemaker

The Council on Aging is taking applications to provide Homemaking services to clients 60 and older. The specific job duties are described in the Homemaker Job Description. This is a part-time position, and includes vacation, mileage reimbursement, and Health Reimbursement Account paid at a rate of $2.40 per hour worked  (after probation) contributed by the number of hours worked per week.

Senior Resource Program Specialist

Performs varied professional tasks designed to educate and assist seniors and persons with disabilities with resources to meet their needs in community-based programs. These activities include researching, identifying and providing information about human services, maintaining electronic and manual resource files, assisting with accessing services available in the community. Knowledge of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid programs preferred.

The work is performed in a team environment, mainly in office, but may include visiting clients in their homes. Employee confers with Program manager, other Information & Assistance staff, and Executive Director to plan, organize, monitor, and evaluate program activities. Use of personal vehicle may be required (paid mileage) for travel within Ravalli County and Missoula County. May require occasional lifting or moving up to 25 lbs.

This is a full-time position M-F, 8-5.  Benefits include earned vacation and sick time, Health Reimbursement Account paid at a rate of $2.40 per hour worked, paid mileage, and access to Simple IRA.

Site Cook for Council on Aging-Meals on Wheels – Victor

The Ravalli County Council on Aging is looking for a qualified cook for our Meals on Wheels and Congregate Meal program. This is a part-time position Monday, Wednesday,  Friday with a starting time of 8:00 am. The Council on Aging prepares average of 20 meals per day (with possibility for growth.) The  position  includes earned vacation, a Health Reimbursement Account paid at a rate of $2.40 per hour worked, and participation in a Simple IRA plan. Email application
